Video footage later surfaced on the platform captured by fan @realJoshieBrown showing the 30 Rock star wiping his face with a white towel while multiple MSG staff members attended to him.
According to the eyewitness on X, Morgan was “bleeding from [his] nose” and “could barely stand up” before being taken away in a wheelchair.
The game was temporarily halted in the third quarter for about 10 minutes while medics assisted Morgan and arena staff worked to clean the affected area, Fox News reports.
A man sitting next to Morgan – wearing a black t-shirt and a blue Knicks hat – appeared visibly concerned as the situation unfolded. Eventually, the comedian was helped into a wheelchair and escorted out of the arena.
MSG and Knicks Players Send Well-Wishes
Following the unsettling incident, a spokesperson for Madison Square Garden issued a statement via The New York Post: “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”
Knicks player Josh Hart also addressed Morgan’s health scare after the team’s 116-95 victory over the Heat, telling reporters, per PageSix: “We hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan, avid lifetime Knicks fan, so prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

Health Concerns Linger
While it remains unclear what caused Morgan’s medical episode, the comedian has a well-documented history of serious health issues.
He has battled diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2014, he survived a near-fatal car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that left him in a coma for eight days, Fox reports.
Most recently, Morgan spoke openly about using the type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic for weight loss. In March 2024, he told E! News: “Ozempic did great by me, and I was glad to use it.”
He added that the medication had cut his appetite “in half,” quipping: “Now I only eat half a bag of Doritos.”
At this time, Morgan’s representatives have not publicly commented on the incident, leaving questions about his condition unanswered.
However, fans and fellow Knicks supporters have taken to social media to share their well-wishes.
“I really hope he’s ok,” one person wrote on X, with another typing: “Tracy Morgan is a legend. Wishing him a speedy recovery.”
