Reproduce roses easily and with amazing results!

Propagating roses : With the arrival of spring the first rose buds begin to appear and surely in the garden you will find some roses that are more beautiful than others. If you want to choose it to grow it and create other flower beds or a real rose garden, we will show you a very simple method.

As we said, the best time to transplant roses is spring, usually in May and early June. They are beautiful flowers loved by many and are quite easy to grow, with the method that we are going to show you we can save some money by not having to buy new seedlings.

All we need is a potato and some cinnamon powder. You may be wondering how to proceed? Nothing complicated: insert the stem of the bud you want to reproduce into a potato after protecting the base with cinnamon powder. This simple trick will make the rose grow more vigorously.

Propagating roses – here is an easy and inexpensive way, excellent results!

Choose stems from the rose that have the thickness of a pencil Choose the cutting from  the straightest  stem or without curvatures to check if the chosen cutting is ready Release a thorn if it comes off cleanly without affecting the stem You can proceed with the following operations and I recommend that it   must be a young stem

Procedure

Cut about 20/22 cm from a branch that meets the requirements listed above (new growth from an existing rose bush). Remove the stem by making a cut at a 45 degree angle.

Dip the  freshly cut stem in cinnamon .

Cinnamon contains antibacterial properties and therefore protects your cutting from fungi and bacteria during the rooting process. Cut the potato and make a hole to place the rose stem. The potato will give your rose stem the moisture and nutrients it needs to root and grow.

Continue to decline after fertilizing the apartment.
