The 41-year-old mom of three was quietly discharged Monday from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia.

Her exit came under the radar, as she was escorted out of view of waiting reporters, per the New York Post.

While her current medical status remains unclear, her sudden health scare and deeply personal revelations about alleged domestic abuse have ignited waves of public concern and support.

Giuffre shocked followers with a hospital bed photo she shared on March 30, showing visible bruises and a dire message: “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure; they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”

However, the incident that landed her in the hospital has since been scrutinized.

Police initially classified the crash as a “minor collision,” saying there were “no reported injuries” and an estimated A$2,000 in damage, per the Mirror.

Parents of children on the bus also claimed no one was hurt.

Ross Munns, the school bus driver involved, downplayed the severity, telling Daily Mail: “It’s just all blown out of proportion, and I know what happened. I didn’t even see her in the car.”

He explained he had clipped a taillight while overtaking a slower vehicle, driven by a 71-year-old woman who reportedly said she wasn’t hurt. “It wasn’t a major crash,” Munns added.

Giuffre’s rep, Dini von Mueffling, later clarified the social media post was originally meant for a private Facebook group and emphasized that “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital.”

What made headlines just as quickly as her health scare were Giuffre’s claims of domestic violence.

In a statement to PEOPLE, she alleged years of abuse by her husband, Robert Giuffre — the father of her three children — and said she was breaking her silence after a violent January incident left her hospitalized.

“I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein who, abused and trafficked me. But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent,” Giuffre said. “Again, I thank everyone for their support. I have faith that justice will prevail.”

The couple, married for 22 years, are believed to have recently separated.

Giuffre’s brother, Sky Roberts, and his wife Amanda, claim the January 9 assault in Dunsborough nearly killed her.

Amanda claimed: “I think the last incident that they had, she almost died. And we had to speak that truth with her on the phone. And I think she had acknowledged that if she had one more instance with him, she wasn’t making it out of there.”

They allege she suffered a cracked sternum and a perforated eye during that attack.

Adding another layer of tension, Sky claimed that Robert filed a restraining order first. “He just put his in place first. Now she’s on the defense.”

According to 7 News, Virginia was later accused of violating the restraining order by sending a text on February 2.

While critics have questioned Giuffre’s health claims and the cause of her injuries, Sky defended his sister, warning that skepticism could have tragic consequences.

“Is it going to take her to die for people to believe her? Or can you just simply be a human and look at the facts and understand this is somebody that legitimately got into an accident, legitimately had underlying issues,” he said.

He also stressed that the cause of her kidney and liver issues remains unclear. “Let’s be clear, she never stated in the bus accident the cause of all her other injuries,” he said.

“I think that’s from years of alleged abuse. You got to think, she’s been allegedly being abused for over 10 years. Anyone’s body is going to take a toll over a course of time.

“And nobody ever said her liver issues and kidney failure were ever from that,” he continued. “We still don’t know if it is, I’m not a medical professional. That’s up to her doctor to determine.”

Giuffre is mom to three children — ages 19, 16, and 15 — and has been “despondent and depressed” about being separated from them, according to her brother. “They’re the most important thing in her life.”

Her father also made a public plea for her recovery, telling The Guardian: “Virginia, my daughter, I love you and praying you get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life. If there is anything in the world I can do to help you, please let me know.”

Even her former attorney Brad Edwards added his voice of support: “We’re hoping for better news in the coming days. I hope she pulls through with good medical care.”
