How to keep parsley alive: The trick to preserving it

First you need some parsley, preferably fresh. Wash it and place it on a cutting board. Cut it into large pieces using a knife.

The next step is to put the fresh, chopped parsley in a fairly deep bowl. Next, you need to  add a spoonful of baking soda  . Pour cold water over it so that all the parsley is covered and the baking soda dissolves. With the help of a spoon, press the leaves into the water so that it soaks well.

At this point, the parsley needs  to soak for about a quarter of an hour.  In the meantime, clean the cutting board with a little vinegar alcohol. This way you will ensure that all bacteria are eliminated and the cutting board is ready for another use. After 15 minutes, rinse the herb under running water. The water should be changed about three times.

On the clean cutting board, place a clean sponge cloth on which you will place the aromatic herb that you have previously drained.  Dry it well  with the towel. At this point we need a clean and dry glass. Line the bottom of the glass with paper towels. With the help of a spoon, make sure that it adheres well to the walls of the glass.

The  jar  is filled with parsley. The jar should be made of clear glass with an airtight seal. At this point, the jar of parsley can be placed in the refrigerator and will stay fresh and intact for about a month. Once you figure out this hack, you will surely not leave it.
